Event Handlers

An event handler specifies the function to perform when an external event occurs, such as in a legacy application, or any Real-Time Designer event that is not connected to the change of a value, such as a mouse click. A variety of things can trigger an event in Real-Time Designer, such as the click of a button in a screen, a Real-Time Designer rule being fulfilled, a step being performed in a workflow, and so on.

For example:

Entering the accounts screen, the new button was clicked, customer qualified as gold, offer models are evaluated.
